My friend lives in an apartment filled with warmth and art and cooking. It’s lovely.
The rain has cleared. I should really go outside now.
I, I thought of that old joke, y’know, the, this… this guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, “Doc, uh, my brother’s crazy; he thinks he’s a chicken.” And, uh, the doctor says, “Well, why don’t you turn him in?” The guy says, “I would, but I need the eggs.” Well, I guess that’s pretty much now how I feel about relationships; y’know, they’re totally irrational, and crazy, and absurd, and… but, uh, I guess we keep goin’ through it because, uh, most of us… need the eggs.

Dear Melbourne City,
By allowing the demolition of Lonsdale House and Caledonian Lane to go ahead you have shown total disregard for Melbourne’s greatest asset – Culture, Heritage and History.
I implore you – listen to your people who cry out at this destruction. Listen to the anger and protest which so far fallen has upon deaf ears. Cease the selling off of our beautiful lane ways and the unforgivable eradication of Melbourne’s icons. Ensure that similar offenses will not happen again.
A citizen & admirer of the beautiful city of Melbourne
